The MERB chairperson Carlton Majuru said “Our challenges are immense, as we have limited playing facilities at club level, and the equipment we have needs urgent attention in terms of repair. We need to purchase balls , ruck and tackle shields, cones , scrummaging machine on top of the human capital in terms of coaches, and officials. And administrators. We are looking to partner with the corporate world to help us secure these so we can continue to grow the game of rugby. The corporate world and individuals have been supportive of our efforts to grow the game in our Province thus far. We can only get better.”
We are forever grateful for all the assistance we have received and continue to receive. We urge the corporates and individuals to emulate what some corporates have done and we help grow and develop rugby in our beautiful, well endowed and expansive province.
