The affiliates of the Zimbabwe Rugby Union have hit the ground running after the announcement that Rugby can resume training and games. The Zimbabwe Rugby Referees Society , Bulawayo chapter , the Kudu Referees had their first meeting in 2021 at Hartsfield Rugby stadium on Saturday the 20th of March with all covid protocols as set out by the SRC and ZRU being observed. Acting chairperson Michael Zvakavapano welcomed the new members and laid out for them the online requirements and fitness and law exams that will be done in season. This marked the start of the season for the referees with the weekly Monday meetings set to commence beginning of April. The Harare chapter of the Zimbabwe Rugby Referees Society the MRRS will have its first meeting on the 22nd of March 2021 at the Prince Edward School pavilion from 1730hrs.
