Simba Dangah is a renowned rugby referee, coach and manager of various teams and sporting disciplines. He coached Gifford High School U16 and 1st rugby teams from 2000 to 2008. During this time he was appointed The Matabeleland U18 Schools manager, a position He held till he resigned in 2019. He has been involved in cricket at U16 level as a coach and manager. He started his refereeing career in 2003under the guidance and mentor ship of Richard Bloxham and Andrew Roberts. He rose through the ranks to officiate international matches in Zimbabwe and Africa. He has coached at Christian Brothers College the U14, u17 second and First teams from 2008 to 2018. In 2017 he was appointed the inaugural Zimbabwe Academy Week u18 team manager , a team that toured South Africa. He has been the manager of theU18 team until the revitalization and retooling of the Zimbabwe Rugby Union technical teams. He was coopted into the Zimbabwe Sables Management team for 2018. He was also coopted into the Zimbabwe Cheetahs Management team in 2017 as the Zimbabwe Goshawks manager and Assistant manager for the Cheetahs team.
He has served as the Matabeleland Rugby Referees Society chairperson since 2014 before he was elected as the Zimbabwe Rugby Referees Society Vice President. He is a qualified World Rugby Match Officiating Educator since 2015. He continues to serve rugby as the communications manager for the Union.
